Belmont church marks Darwin bicentennial on Evolution Sunday

BELMONT — For some people, it's war when it comes to religion and science. But in San Mateo County this weekend, churches will recognize that religion and science are in harmony with one another.

"The first complements the second by reminding us of all the amazing wonders of our physical world our loving God creates through evolution," said the Rev. Kristi Denham, pastor of the Congregational Church of Belmont.
